Described by The Times as ‘the definitive online resource for the latest news about legal technology’ this website and our free monthly newsletter, read by all serious legal IT professionals since 1995, offers a number of focussed advertising and marketing opportunities
Legal IT Insider has unrivalled coverage across the legal sector from mid-tier up to all of the top 100 UK law firms, all of the top Australian firms and a large and growing readership in the US via the newsletter and website.
In a world of too much data, it is Legal IT Insider’s unique ability, based on nearly two decades of reporting, to curate, interpret and deliver only relevant IT news and views that has made it essential reading for legal IT professionals globally.
We work to your objectives and budget
We can offer opportunities to contact your key prospects via the website next to the famous Latest News and on your chosen pages in a variety of sizes. We can also offer spaces in the newsletter as banner ads, whole, half and quarter pages and inserts in both printed and digital newsletters. We will work with you and your budget to find a cost effective and powerful way for you to reach decision makers within the industry.
WHO READS IT?
The newsletter and website are the first port of call for authoritative legal IT intelligence worldwide and is read by: CIOs, heads of IT, managing partners in law firms, heads of in-house legal teams/corporate and general counsel in the corporate sector, heads and managers of e-discovery and litigation support departments in law firms and corporate sectors, IT vendors and developers.
Legal IT Insider, the digital and print newsletter has a global reach of 26,000 legal IT professionals each issue. The newsletter’s Latest News section has an average of 44,000 readers and 540,000 page views per month.
In addition our website carries the much consulted Insider Top 200 charts of systems in the UK and the World’s leading law firms, plus pages on social media, ePublishing, eDiscovery news, jobs, events, archives, case studies and whitepapers. Advertisements can be placed specifically on these pages if required.
Press releases and features
Because we are news rather than advertising driven we do not operate a conventional ‘August special focus on time & billing systems’ style editorial calendar. If something is topical, we report it. We know our readers are busy people who just want the facts and opinion – not padding, spin and hype. We are happy to receive press releases via email as plain text, attached Word files or PDFs. The length for success stories/thought leaders should be circa 600-650 words. We do not worry about how you compose your press releases as we will edit them for length and house-style. One final point, as it does cause confusion from time to time, we only look at legal IT from the point of view of the technology lawyers use, as distinct from the legal issues surrounding the use of technology generally.
Apps: We now have a brand new app: Legal IT Insider www.itunes.com/apps/legalitinsider for the iPhone and the iPad. The app also provides access to the Insider newsletter and any ads carried in the newsletter also appear on the app.
You can also book whole pages or ‘loose inserts’ – max 4 pages in the digital edition of the newsletter and printed loose inserts in the printed edition of Legal IT Insider.
Case Studies and Whitepapers
The Legal IT Insider website can now host case studies and whitepapers: £300 plus VAT each case study or whitepaper or £900 plus VAT for 4.
Key words or phrases in the article can be selected for SEO which, as editorial, adds more weight than mentions via ads and own websites. This is included in the price.
Final dates for editorial and advertising deadlines are available as an Excel spreadsheet. Please click the link here: Legal IT Insider 2014 Deadlines
