The Legal Services Board has just published the results of some extensive research on individual consumers’ use of legal services. It is outside our normal area of coverage so here is a link to the report and we’ll leave you to chew over the findings, which include that fact that 56% of the sample resolved their legal needs without seeking professional advice – and off that 44%, there was a marginally higher satisfaction rate among consumers who used Citizens Advice Bureaux, than among those who used law firms.
