Iridium Technology has bolstered its North American consulting team with the hire of Brian Taaffe, who joins from Prosperoware.

As a member of the Iridium team, Brian will be involved with BI implementations for leading law firms in all regions.  He brings deep experience in SQL Server, Analysis Server, PowerBI, and other BI technologies.  As with all Iridium team members, Brian will wear multiple hats in his new role: BI Consultant/Developer, BI strategist, PowerBI specialist, dashboard designer, and contributor to new Iridium BI product designs and features.

In his previous role, Brian served as Manager of BI for Prosperoware and was responsible for managing the design, delivery, and execution of their business intelligence offering. This role included responsibility for product management, system architecture, report design, dashboard creation, front-end visualizations, end-user dashboards, and designing and building the cubes.

Tom Jones, CEO and president of Iridium Technology tells us: “Brian has a deep understanding of the business of law and more specifically legal BI. He has spent the last thirteen years focused on helping legal and professional services firms improve their profitability and processes. Brian is a consummate professional and has excellent technical expertise. We are proud to welcome him to the Iridium team!”

“Iridium has a great product line built on leading-edge technologies,” states Taaffe. “Their products are recognized for their elegance, performance, and ability to customize based on customer preference. I am excited to join an organization that is experiencing exceptional growth and is recognized as a market leader in BI for law firms. I bring a unique set of skills to the firm, and we are already deep in discussions about working some of my ideas into the Iridium BI product.  I appreciate the firm’s culture of respect for both employees and clients, and I look forward to playing a part in the firm’s continuing growth.”

The hire follows the funding injection last year by Polaris Growth Fund, which we exclusively revealed during ILTA 2018. The funding was earmarked for three things: building new product and accelerating the growth of existing modules; building out infrastructure including support; and, most relevant to this latest bit of news, hiring across the board – bolstering sales, development and marketing.
