It’s been a bit quiet on the Thomson Reuters Elite Enterprise upgrade front of late but we can reveal that Am Law 100 law firm Crowell & Moring has selected 3E following an extensive and competitive review process.

This is a great win for TR and the Washington-headquartered law firm selected 3E “for its market-leading technological capabilities and its established track record of value delivery in the legal enterprise marketplace.” The firm is said to have been attracted to 3E’s ability to deliver significant improvements to e-billing efficiencies, which will streamline the day-to-day work of the firm’s 550 lawyers. The firm was also said to have been impressed by the level of support offered by the Thomson Reuters Elite team, both during the review process and going forward. TR is clearly keen to emphasise the two areas where it has been criticised following its recent wholesale restructure, which saw a vast number of staff let go, including the entire eBilling Hub team in Pittsburgh.

We’ll bring you further detail as and when we get it.

Crowell & Moring is an international law firm with nearly 550 lawyers representing clients in litigation and arbitration, regulatory, and transactional matters. The firm has offices in Washington, D.C., New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orange County, London, and Brussels. Led by CIO Mark Sportack, in terms of other core systems, Crowell & Moring is one of NetDocuments biggest customers.
