In a very timely fashion given that we’re just compiling a list of vendors and law firms that have recently become ISO accredited, Luminance has today (12 February) announced its successful ISO 27001:2013 certification from BSI (Business Standards Institution), reinforcing the London-headquartered company’s commitment to information security and confidentiality of client data.
Luminance, which recently announced Version 3.0 of its machine learning platform, has established a heavyweight security advisory board to provide expert guidance on its information security principles. The board consists of the former director general of MI5, Lord Evans of Weardale KCB; alongside Darktrace CTO Jack Stockdale and director of technology Dave Palmer. You will recall that Darktrace and Luminance are both backed by Invoke Capital. The advisory board will help ensure Luminance continues to apply the most rigorous information security procedures to all client work. Any information uploaded to Luminance is stored securely on the company’s cloud servers or on-site appliances and encrypted to ensure that document content and metadata are protected.
