Intapp has bolstered its senior technical team with the hire of Wathik Labidi as vice president of engineering. Labidi, who has held senior roles at Aruba Networks, Genesys and PayPal, is responsible for product engineering and for expanding the scope and capabilities of Intapp’s SaaS (software as a service) solutions.

Labidi joined Intapp last year but his hire will shortly be formally announced by Intapp, following the news that the Palo Alto company has re-hired former EMEA and APAC vice president Kaye Sycamore from UK-based MS Dynamics CRM practice management system provider Peppermint Technology.

Prior to joining Intapp, Labidi was vice president of cloud engineering for Aruba, an HP company, where he led a team that successfully built a global cloud-based network management solution together with an extensive business applications ecosystem. Before that, he was vice president of R&D and cloud operations for Genesys, a customer experience platform provider, where he led the launch of the company’s presence in the cloud, and before that vice president of Infrastructure Engineering at PayPal.

“Wathik brings valuable experience in both software development and infrastructure management to Intapp, with an impressive track record in building the infrastructure for cloud services delivery,” said Dan Harsell, senior vice president of technology and co-Founder, Intapp.

Intapp’s current portfolio of cloud applications include the Intapp Open new business intake and conflicts management system and Intapp Time, which brings together technology from Intapp and Rekoop, the UK-headquartered time and billing provider acquired by Intapp in 2016.

As we revealed earlier this week, Sycamore will return to Intapp to work on global accounts having joined Peppermint as chief sales and marketing officer in May 2016.
