Norton Rose Fulbright’s global innovation chief Mike Rebeiro to join Macfarlanes

Norton Rose Fulbright’s global and European head of technology and innovation (and our regular and much loved conference chair) Mike Rebeiro is to join Macfarlanes as senior adviser – head of digital and innovation.
Rebeiro is a sourcing, technology and information security lawyer based in London and in recent years has distinguished himself as a thought leader on emerging technologies, regularly speaking on AI, digital disruption and transformation. He was conference chair at our Legal Leaders CIO Forum in Gleneagles in 2017 and will resume that role at the end of February this year.
In a statement out today (13 February) Macfarlanes said: “Macfarlanes is pleased to announce that Mike Rebeiro will be joining the firm as a senior adviser. Mike brings with him a wealth of expertise in the fields of outsourcing, technology and information security.”
Macfarlanes senior partner Charles Martin said: “This is an exciting opportunity for the firm and our clients. Mike has an impressive track record which will greatly enhance our ability to assist our clients in this fast moving area. We look forward to welcoming him to the firm.”
Mike is a staunch supporter of the charity Action for Children – the charity now championed by Legal IT Insider as a result – and we wouldn’t be surprised to see a significant number of Macfarlanes staff out on the streets of London this year at Byte Night; a charity sleepout in support of Action for Children.
