• INTERNATIONAL – One of our favourite people in the legal IT sector – Alison Thorpe – has just been appointed Regional Sales  Manager with Prosperoware and will be working alongside reseller partners to maximise opportunities for the Milan, Zone and Ascera platforms, as well as have direct responsibility for the Umbria Legal Process Management Solution, with a focus on Matter Budgeting and  Analytics.  She can be contacted at alison.thorpe@prosperoware.com

 

• INTERNATIONAL – And another of our favourites Mark Craddock is now working with XRef to bring his knowledge of international company development in the legal technology market, to support the continuing growth of XRef  globally. • US – DocSolid, a leader in enterprise document scanning solutions for the legal market, announced it has expanded its leadership team by creating and, now, fulfilling three key director positions:  Eric Lynn is announced as the new Director of Customer Success; Dale Shoup, Director of Software Development; and Kent Henderson is taking the helm as Director of Sales. • UK – Over at Quill Pinpoint, Karen Eldridge has been promoted internally from its legal cashiering division where she held the role of Legal Supervisor for a period of 5 years, to a new role as Implementation Manager. Karen’s responsible for overseeing the roll out of software and services to new clients, extra licences and additional products to existing clients. www.quill.co.uk

 

• UK – John Eady has stepped down from his position as Managing Director of Datashare Solutions, a Shift F7 Group company. “As a founding Director of Datashare Solutions, John has been a key figure and instrumental in the growth and reputation of the company”, said Garry King, Chief Executive of the Shift F7 Group, “He has worked hard to ensure that the acquisition by the Shift F7 Group has been a success, both for the employees of Datashare Solutions and their customers”. • US – Acrowire a strategic business and legal technology consulting company, just announced that it continues to expand its staff with the addition of Jeff Bodem as Senior Vice President of Client Strategy and Patrick Lamm as Solutions Architect. Bodem brings more than 15 years of experience in business development and client services focused on law firms, corporate law departments and government agencies via organizations including Navigant and LexisNexis. Lamm joins Acrowire as Solutions Architect on the SharePoint development team and has a priority to deliver functional and innovative solutions to clients across all industries. • US – Huron Consulting Group Inc announced that Debra Zumwalt, vice president and general counsel for Stanford University, has been appointed to Huron’s board of directors. During her career, Zumwalt was a partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP from 1993-2001. She specialized in complex civil litigation and higher education law. • UK – legal IT specialist Sprout IT has appointed of Angela McNaughton as Director. Angela, a Chartered Management Accountant with 11 years’ experience in the legal industry will assist in leading the company’s strategy, driving organisational structure and creating a culture of engagement. • US – Wilson Legal Solutions, a provider of software and services to enhance law firm profitability and productivity, is pleased to announce the following people who have joined the company: Jennifer Hallett, of Seattle (Wa) has joined Wilson Legal Solutions as a senior director. Hallett is a certified project management professional with nearly 25 years experience. She advanced through a series of positions with Thomson Reuters Elite over a period of 17 years. And Bo Yancey, of Charlottesville (Va) has joined Wilson Legal Solutions as a senior business of law consultant. In his new position, Yancey is responsible for the successful end-user deployment of business intelligence with a focus on configuration and assessment of solutions to evaluate client profitability, partner compensation, and department and practice group analysis.
