Business Analyst – Legal Technology Vendor
Aldershot, Hampshire
up to £45,000

Our client is a global provider of Legal Technology applications and is now looking to recruit a Business Analyst for the QA & Development team.

The Business Analyst will work with the onshore and offshore development and QA teams to elicit and document functional/non-functional requirements to the highest level of accuracy for use during the software development lifecycle.

The Business will ensure adherence to project governance especially surrounding the sign-off and agreement of functional requirements.

As a Business Analyst you will be involved in the following:

Requirements – producing functional requirement documentation whilst adhering to the development process

Collaboration – Working with technical architects, developers and QA to ensure the delivered requirements are of the highest standard and fit for purpose. Attitude & approach – Driven, enthusiastic and willing to learn. A collaborative approach to requirements gathering, with the ability to work on own or as part of a team.

Analysis – Carry out full life cycle business analysis. Requirements gathering, functional specification creation, process mapping, capturing business rules, workshops

Gap Analysis – Analyse requirements from all angles and perform gap-analysis to ensure no detail is missed

Test Driven Development – Contribute to the production of test plans where appropriate and ensure requirements created take into account the test-driven development approach

Requirement sign off – responsible for coordinating and gaining requirements sign off

Planning – Attend development planning and work allocation meetings with both onshore and offshore development resource

This position will be based in Aldershot, Hampshire and will pay a salary up to £45,000.
